What is this Foundation + Concealer?
The Milani Conceal + Perfect Foundation + Concealer, claims to be a medium to full coverage foundation that is oil free, long wearing, water-resistant, and sweat proof. You can also use this foundation as a concealer, just apply a little bit more to the areas that need it. This foundation comes in 19 shades making it easier for people of all skin tones to enjoy. Here in Canada you can only purchase Milani Cosmetics at Wal-Mart, but if you don’t have a Walmart near you can always purchase their products from their website.
Why I Like It:
Beauty Bloggers have been raving about how amazing this foundation is and it’s all for good reason too. This has become my go to everyday foundation. This is the perfect foundation for teenage girls that are just starting to experiment with makeup. Not only is this a budget friendly product, but it has a flawless finish on the skin. If you’re a full coverage type of girl then this is the foundation for you. It get rids of any redness and is great for covering up any imperfections. It comes with a pump which is always a good thing and lasts on your skin all day long.
Drawbacks:
I wouldn’t recommend this foundation for oily skin. For the most part I have dry skin, but throughout the day I do get oily around my t-zone, and I find that the foundation does break up around that area. It’s also not a very light weight foundation, it has more of a thick consistency and I think that’s because it’s also made to be a concealer. Since, the foundation does have a thick consistency you have to spend more time blending because it does crease more than other foundations. I find that this fonudation does oxidize a little bit, but not to the point where you can clearly see a difference beween your face and neck, but it does get a little bit darker thorughout the day. I wear the colour warm beige and I find that it’s to pink toned for my skin. It doesn’t look bad, but I wish it had more of a yellow undertone.
