Stila Perfect Me, Perfect Hue Eye & Cheek Palette Review

What it the The Stila Perfect Me, Perfect Hue?

The Stila Perfect Me, Perfect Hue Eye & Cheek Palette comes with five eyeshadows and two blushes. They are four different palettes, each of the palettes are catered to different skin tones, they have a fair light palette, light-medium, medium tan, and tan deep. These palettes contain colours that will compliment your skin tone. You are meant to choose the palette that is closest to your skin tone because each palette contains colours that will help you achieve a natural makeup look.  I received the light-medium palette in the mail, and have been using it over the course of the summer.

Why I Like It:

The eyeshadows in this palette are very good, but they’re not amazing. According to Stila Cosmetics, the eyeshadows contain 78% pigment saturation. The colour payoff is definitely there, however you do have to spend a little bit of time blending into how you want it to look like. In good news, these eyeshadows are paraben free and also don’t contain sulfates and phthalates. Overall with the help of a primer these eyeshadows are very long lasting.

If you’re the type of person that prefers eyeshadow colours that will go any type of outfit then this is a great palette for you. It’s a great palette for every day and is good for travelling as well.

My favourite shade in this mini palette is this gorgeous gold shimmer shade called Ambitious. You could use it to highlight your brow bone or even to use it on your face. You can create a beautiful brown smokey eye with the brown shades in this palette.

The only eyeshadow colour I don’t like is Dazzling, it just doesn’t show up on my skin.  Also, when using these eyeshadows make sure to tap the excess off because if you don’t, you will get fall out.  Unfortunately, the blushes fade after five hours, which isn’t the worse thing in the world, but, they are other blushes that don’t fade within five hours. The palette retails at C$51.00, so if you’re someone who wants a little bit more range in terms of eyeshadows you could easily add an extra ten dollars and buy a palette with more eyeshadow colours.
