3 Bold Spring Looks We Created with Huda Beauty’s Electric Obsessions Palette

Many of us tend to gravitate towards warmer colours and bronzy tones when creating eyeshadow looks.  I know I’m definitely guilty of that. As much as I love a palette with warm colours, this Spring I wanted to change things up and try wearing more colour. I didn’t own a palette with vibrant colours, so I purchased the Huda Beauty Electric Obsessions palette from Sephora. This palette has really let me experiment with colour and truly bringing out my inner artist. At first, I was hesitant to even use the palette because I just wasn’t sure what colours would look good together, but then I remembered something called the colour wheel. If you want to create a monochromatic look all you have to is use different tones of a colour. If you want your eyes to really pop and have more of a dramatic effect you can add a contrasting colour to your look.  Although I’m still not used to rocking a vibrant, colourful, and sometimes sparkly eyeshadow look I’m loving the way I feel. Not only do I feel excited about life but wearing some colour is bringing out this carefree attitude I didn’t have before. I can definitely get used to this feeling. Inspired by newfound love for colour I teamed up with makeup artist Brooke Belliveau to create three beautiful bold and badass eyeshadow spring looks for you guys. I hope this will motivate you to add some colour to your eyeshadow looks this spring season.

This palette includes three shimmers and six mattes. The colours in this palette are very pigmented, blend like a dream and are long-wearing. They do stain your brushes and have a lot of fall out so I recommend doing your eyeshadow before you do your fave.
