Rimmel London Lasting 25 Hour Finish Foundation Review

What It Is:

The Rimmel London Lasting 25 Hour Finish foundation claims to be a full coverage foundation. The foundation contains a comfort serum. It is supposedly sweat, humidity, heat, and transfer proof.  Since I’m currently quite fair, the colour I am using is 200 Soft Beige. If you’re located in Canada you can buy this foundation at Shoppers Drug Mart or Wal-Mart.

Why I Like It:

This foundation has a thick consistency but feels lightweight on the skin.  It comes in a glass bottle and a pump, which is always helpful. It is a medium to full coverage foundation. Although it has received many good reviews from beauty bloggers, I personally didn’t love it. It’s a good foundation but I don’t like it as much as the Milani Conceal and Perfect 2 in 1 foundation. When using it I found that when I put on the second layer, it looks really cakey looking on the skin. In order to make it work instead of putting on a second layer, I put on a little more on the areas that need it. To prevent it from looking cakey I only applied powder on my T-zone and spray my face with Mac Fix Plus. When doing this I found that the foundation gave me the right amount of coverage and gives me healthy looking skin. It’s a great foundation for work.

Drawbacks:

Unfortunately, not everybody can try this foundation it comes in 15 shades but lacks in darker colours. Here in Canada, they do not sell all 15 shades, they only sell seven shades.  In addition,  this foundation definitely does not last for 25 hours, at most it lasts eight hours.
