Makeup Forever Ultra HD Invisible Cover Stick Foundation Review

What it is:

I originally wanted to buy the Hourglass Vanish Seamless Finish Foundation stick,  because I’ve heard amazing things about it, but I just couldn’t find the right shade for my skin tone. Instead, I bought the Makeup Forever Ultra HD Cover stick foundation in the shade 118 = Y325 – Flesh. This foundation claims to give you a natural finish and be full coverage. It’s made for all skin types, but according to Sephora.com , this foundation is best suited for dry skin. It’s supposed to be long-lasting and will make your skin look hydrated and even out your skin tone. You can also use this foundation to contour by purchasing a shade that is two shades darker than your skin tone. They are currently  20 shades available.

Makeup Forever HD Foundation Pros:

Shade: 118 = Y325 – Flesh

I definitely prefer using a brush with stick foundations, it’s just easier and faster than using a beauty blender. I normally have combination skin, but since it’s colder right now my skin is really dry, so I really like how this foundation looks on me. I do get oily in my t-zone after five hours when using this foundation,  so I do have to touch up with it. If you do have oily skin using a more mattifying primer or mattifying setting spray might be a better option for you.  Once everything is blended out you get a really pretty natural finish.  It has medium coverage but you can definitely build it up if you prefer a more full coverage look. I personally like using just enough to even out my skin tone, and then I like going in with a full coverage concealer on the areas that need it.  This foundation definitely lasts for a very long time and looks amazing photos.  It’s a foundation I would consider repurchasing.

Cons

Just be careful if you’re somebody that tends to touch your face a lot because it does rub off quite a bit. I do think they could have some more darker shades.
