L’Oreal Infallible Pro-Matte Foundation Review

What is the l’oreal foundation:

The L’Oreal Infallible Pro-Matte Foundation claims to control oil and have an air-light texture. It supposedly will last on your skin for 24 hours. It’s supposedly has a demi-matte finish and is supposed to be a medium to full coverage foundation. This foundation comes in 14 shades.  Here in Canada, you can purchase this foundation from Shoppers Drug Mart or Walmart.

Why I Like It:

I bought this foundation during the summer, which is why it’s a lot darker than my current skin tone. I was using colour 107 Fresh Beige, now that I’m much paler, shade 105 Natural Beige would be a much better fit for me. At first, I didn’t like this foundation and I think that’s because I prefer a dewy finish, rather than a matte finish.  I decided to try this foundation again during the beginning of September, back when I still had a tan.

In order to see how amazing this foundation is you need to apply it on top of a dewy base. Since it is a matte foundation by using a dewy primer and moisturizer your skin will be well hydrated before applying this foundation.  Once your skin is prepped, use  I  a beauty blender for a flawless finish.  The formula is very pigmented and it does not sink into pores.  I usually get oily in my T- zone, but not so much with this foundation.  It’s a lightweight foundation that lasts all day long.  If you’re somebody that has oily skin, have acne, and like to have full coverage, I would recommend this foundation for you.

Drawbacks:

More shades need to be made to accommodate all skin tones.  People of deeper skin tones would not be able to try this foundation because of the lack of shades. The packaging isn’t the greatest, I hate foundations that come in tubes. I would have loved if this foundation came with a pump.
