Rhode has quickly become one of the most talked-about beauty brands, and every new launch seems to spark conversation online. The latest product to join the lineup is the Pocket Bronzer, a creamy bronzing stick designed to give skin a natural, sun-kissed glow in just a few swipes. But with so many cream bronzers already on the market, is this one actually worth adding to your makeup bag? I put the Rhode Pocket Bronzer to the test to see how it applies, wears throughout the day, and whether it’s worth the $38 price tag. As a beauty editor, I get to test countless makeup launches, so here’s everything you need to know before you buy.
How It Wears:
The bronzers are super creamy, easy to blend, and buildable, making it easy to add more colour as needed. They give the skin a beautiful sun-kissed finish, wear well throughout the day, and come in a great shade range, including options for deeper and darker skin tones.
The Packaging:
Recently, there’s been some online discussion, with Glamzilla pointing out that the packaging on the Pocket Bronzers and Pocket Blushes feels cheap. Personally, I don’t really care if the packaging feels inexpensive; I care much more about whether the formula is good. I actually prefer that it isn’t housed in heavy glass packaging because it’s much more convenient for travel. Plus, I’m pretty clumsy and drop my makeup all the time, so I’d rather have durable packaging than risk a product I love shattering.
Who Would Like This Product?
If you love adding warmth to your complexion and creating a sun-kissed, bronzy look, you’ll probably enjoy this bronzer. It’s also something fans of Hailey Bieber or the Rhode brand will definitely love. The formula is very user-friendly, making it ideal for beginners since you can apply enough for a natural finish or build it up for a more full-glam look.
Is It Worth The Money?
At $38, I actually think it’s well priced compared to other high-end cream bronzers. It’s not cheap, but it’s also not the most expensive option out there. The formula is creamy, easy to blend, long-wearing, and does exactly what it promises: it adds natural-looking warmth to the skin with a sun-kissed finish.
