The Blush Diaries: Charlotte Tilbury Unreal Lip + Cheek Glow Blush Stick Review: Is It Worth the Hype?

The Charlotte Tilbury Unreal Lip + Cheek Glow Blush Stick review

Blush has easily become one of the most talked-about beauty categories of 2025, with brands rolling out launch after launch promising the perfect, lit-from-within flush. One of the most eye-catching releases? The Charlotte Tilbury Unreal Lip + Cheek Glow Blush Stick, which, of course, looks dreamy and angelic in the promotional photos.

This is another edition of The Blush Diaries, my ongoing series where I put trending blush formulas to the test in search of what actually delivers beyond the hype. At $57, this blush stick is expensive, which makes the question unavoidable: Is it worth the price, or is it simply another beautifully packaged makeup product?

Let’s get into it.

How It Wears:

I tested the blush stick in Pinky Glow and Rosy Glow, and both shades are pigmented but not overwhelmingly pigmented. The colour payoff is strong yet controllable, especially when applied with a light hand. If you’re someone with a bit of blush blindness (guilty), the formula builds beautifully without turning patchy or muddy.

What really stands out is the finish. These blush sticks deliver a soft, luminous glow that looks fresh and skin-like rather than sparkly or metallic. Unlike Charlotte Tilbury’s Glowgasm wands, which lean more toward highlighter territory, this formula offers a true glow-from-within effect, giving the cheeks a natural, healthy flush.

The texture also deserves a mention: the blush blends effortlessly into the skin with minimal effort, melting in rather than sitting on top. It feels really comfortable on the skin, which likely comes down to the skin-loving, hydrating ingredients in the formula.

Who Would Like This Product?

You’ll probably love this blush stick if you’re into that effortless, no-makeup makeup look or lean toward a clean-girl style of makeup. If cream blush is already your go-to, this formula will feel familiar in the best way. It melts into the skin and is really easy to work with.

This is also a great option if you have dry or normal skin and want something that adds glow without clinging to texture or feeling heavy. And if you’re already a fan of Charlotte Tilbury’s signature angelic, lit-from-within aesthetic, then of course you’ll enjoy this blush.

Is It Worth The Money?

I really do like these blushes, and I’m a longtime fan of Charlotte Tilbury as a brand, but I don’t think you need to spend $57 to get a beautiful cream blush. There are plenty of other great options on the market.

If you are willing to make the splurge, then I do think you will like it. The finish is gorgeous, the formula is easy to work with, and the overall experience—from application to wear—feels luxe. If you don’t mind spending a bit more for that soft glow, creamy texture, and Charlotte Tilbury’s signature aesthetic, this blush will be a good addition to your collection.

In short, it is not a necessity, but a lovely indulgence if it fits your budget.
