The Blush Diaries: Dior Rosy Glow Blush Stick Review—Is It Worth the Splurge?

The Dior Rosy Glow Blush Stick launched in Spring/Summer 2025, and ever since then, it’s been living rent-free in my mind. It’s been everywhere on social media, and as someone who genuinely loves blush, I couldn’t stop staring at how stunning it looked on the skin. That soft, dewy glow is my weakness.

I’ll be honest: I wanted to try it, but I kept hesitating because of the price. It’s definitely a splurge. Luckily, because I’m a beauty editor, I had the chance to have it sent to me — and I’m genuinely so glad I did. This review is part of The Blush Diaries, my ongoing series where I test as much blush as I can get my hands on (because the more blush, the better) to see what’s actually worth the hype.

How It Wears:

The formula is super hydrating and creamy, and it glides on like a dream. It has a sheer colour payoff, so you do have to build it up, but honestly, I think that’s intentional. It’s not as pigmented as the Charlotte Tilbury blush stick, but it also gives the skin a really nice glow.

The finish is very dewy, giving that fresh, lit-from-within glow that reflects light beautifully on the cheeks. I tried the shade Candy, which Dior describes as a pearlescent bubblegum pink, but on my skin it reads more peachy than pink.

I love blush way too much, so of course I had to test this one 😌 Here’s my honest makeup review of the Dior Backstage Rosy Glow Blush Stick, let’s talk finish, payoff, and if the hype makes sense. #makeupreview #honestreview #diorbeauty #diorrosyglowblush #creamblush

These Dior blushes adapt to your skin’s pH for a custom flush, and I actually believe it. It really looks flattering while also making the skin look healthy and youthful.

Who Would Like This Product?

You’ll love this blush stick if you’re into the no-makeup makeup or clean-girl aesthetic and prefer a soft, skin-like flush rather than bold colour. The sheer, buildable formula makes it especially appealing if you like to control your blush and avoid anything that looks too heavy or overdone.

If you’re a makeup artist, this is a beautiful option for editorial looks and bridal makeup. The dewy finish and the subtle colour payoff make it easy to customize for different skin tones without overpowering the rest of the makeup.

Is It Worth The Money?

At $59, you are partly paying for the brand name and the packaging; to be fair, the packaging is stunning and feels very luxurious. That said, I genuinely loved the dewy finish and how fresh it made my skin look. It gives that healthy, glowing complexion that everybody wants.

If you enjoy luxury makeup and like treating yourself to products that feel special, this is one you’ll appreciate, especially if you’re drawn to a dewy, radiant complexion.

For makeup artists, I think it’s 100% worth the money. The sheer, buildable formula and luminous finish make it incredibly versatile, and it looks beautiful on clients and models, especially for bridal and editorial work.
